Mr. and Mrs. Owen Kincade of RR 2, Williamsport, have been notified that their son, Pvt. Doyal Kincade was Killed In Action in France on Christmas Day. He was a member of the Airborne Field Artillery. A few days before Christmas his parents received greetings by cable from their son. He attended the high school at Williamsport and entered the service April 14, 1942, going overseas last August. He was 20 years old last Dec 1. Surviving are the parents, three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Dillworth, Mrs. Selma VanLeer, Lafayette and Miss Nora Kincade at home; and three brothers, Royal, Roland and Richard, all at home. – 1944
